European Cinema Night


Participating in this year's edition of the EUROPEAN CINEMA NIGHT, on November 20 we hosted a free online screening of CORPUS CHRISTI (PL, 2019).

The event was organized by Creative Europe MEDIA in collaboration with Europa Cinemas and La 25e Heure. There were free virtual screenings in 75 cities, in 28 countries, celebrating the richness of the European film culture.

Plot Outline

A pious 20-year-old juvenile delinquent is sent to work at a sawmill in a small town; on arrival, he dresses up as a priest and accidentally takes over the local parish. The arrival of this young, charismatic preacher is an opportunity for the local community to begin the healing process after a tragedy that happened a year prior.
